A catch-all feature that is activated for a given mailbox will permit you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. To put it differently, if you delete an email address and someone still sends an email message to it, or to any miswritten email address under the same domain, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential if you run some business, for instance. Since you may start receiving spam email messages, you can use the catch-all functionality with email filters in order to get only legitimate messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

Creating a catch-all email mailbox will be incredibly easy if you have a shared hosting with us. You can enable this option through our advanced, albeit easy-to-work-with Email Manager tool, which is an integral part of the Hepsia Control Panel, via which you’ll administer your account. You will see all the mailboxes that you’ve set up displayed alphabetically and on the right-hand side of each one of them there will be a tiny "Catch-all" icon, which will instantly reveal to you whether a particular mailbox gets all the emails pertaining to a given domain name or not. With a single mouse click on the icon you can enable or disable this option at any moment. If there is enabled email forwarding or in case some other mailbox has already been set up as a catch-all one for a specific domain, you’ll receive a warning notice from our system. The latter won’t replace/disable anything automatically or without your approval.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

A catch-all email address can be configured with a couple of clicks of the mouse if you’ve got a Linux semi-dedicated hosting with our company. The semi-dedicated account will be managed via our custom-developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you will be able to create email addresses using any domain name registered here. To enable the catch-all functionality for a specific mailbox, you’ll have to click the symbol with the exact same name, which will be on the right side of each mailbox. Deactivating this functionality can be accomplished in the same manner and will not require more than a click either. In case the catch-all functionality has already been activated for a certain domain, you’ll receive a warning message. The same goes if the mailbox that you would like to be a catch-all one has email forwarding activated, as our system will never alter or disable anything automatically.
