Transferring an active domain entails changing the registrar that provides the domain name registration service, so after the transfer itself, you will have to manage things like renewal payments or DNS entry updates through the new company. Clicking on it will show you the present security lock status. If the domain is locked and you wish to transfer it, you’ll just have to click once again and that’s it. Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Hosting

Locking or unlocking any domain registered through us is extremely easy and can be achieved through the Hepsia hosting Control Panel – the one via which you administer your semi-dedicated server. You will see all your domain names in the Registered Domains section and those whose extensions support the registrar lock option will have a padlock icon next to them. You can unlock any domain by clicking on its icon and since the update will propagate immediately, you’ll be able to go ahead with the transfer process without the need to wait for the status to be updated on WHOIS sites. If you reconsider your decision and decide not to transfer the domain name away from us, locking it again will be just as easy and will not require more than a few clicks of the mouse in your Hepsia Control Panel.
