Custom Error Pages in Shared Hosting
You will be able to set up customized error pages for each of your Internet sites easily when you use any of our shared hosting. This can easily be done via the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia CP, offered with all accounts and once you go there, you could set your customized pages independently for any domain or subdomain. You must upload the files to your account ahead of time and enter the links to them during the process. This feature can be de-activated whenever you want and the options you will be able to choose from are a standard page from our system or a default Apache server page. Custom made error pages could be set with an .htaccess file as well. The file should be placed in the domain or subdomain folder and it should include some system code and links to the pages. If you aren't tech-savvy, you can copy the entire content necessary for the file from our Help section.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Including your pages for each of the four error types to any site hosted through a semi-dedicated server account with us will be really simple and will not take more than a couple of mouse clicks. Once you upload the files to your account, you could navigate to the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia Control Panel and edit any of the domains and subdomains listed there through an intuitive interface with drop-down navigation. You can select what page should display for each error type. The choices are a default Apache server page or a page from our system, and custom pages. If you choose the aforementioned option, you will need to enter the link to every page inside your account, then save the change. The link or the sort of page which appears in case a user encounters an error can be changed at any time. If you're more experienced, you can use an .htaccess file to be able to set customized error pages as well, instead of using our integrated generator software tool, and in case you select this option, the file needs to be positioned in the root directory of a specific domain or subdomain.
